Stairs to First Floor & Cafe Wein

There are several sets of stairs to the first floor, and also a lift. The best ones to use to find cafe Wein are the ones at either end of the Main Open air Square.

Of these 2 sets of stairs the nearest ones to the cafe is where the photographer is stood, with the squarking parrots at the top

At the top of these stairs turn right, then turn left down the passage way , Cafe Wein is at the end.

The shopping centre has 3 levels, basement, ground floor and upper level

During the off peak seasons the Cita is very quiet. Even in winterthe High season the Cita is not as popular as the Yumbo, this is unfortunate because there are some good friendly gay bars located there.

Wein cafe - Upper level

The Cita Commercial centre is a very popular stop off place for gays returning from the sandunes in Winter and all go to the Wein cafe on the upper level.

The easyest way to find it is to go into the Cita centre via the middle entrance in Avenida de Francia which is opposite the gay bungalow complex, Los Almendros. Turn left at the T junction then almost immediatly right into the large open air square lined with cafes & restaurents, some with live entertainment. At the far side of the square go up the wide stairs, then turn right then almost immediatly left, The wein cage bar is just at the end at the rear of the centre.

In the winter Gay high season arrive a little too late and you will have to queue to get in, but on the gay side this is not the case in the low season, especially around May and June when the gay venues are virtually dead. Many close around this time of the year for holidays or even for a longer period.
