Gay Cita Shopping Centre in Gay Playa del Ingles

The shopping centre has 3 levels, basement, ground floor and first floor

 

During the off peak seasons the Cita is very quiet. Even in winterthe High season the Cita is not as popular as the Yumbo, this is unfortunate because there are some good friendly gay bars located there.

Stairs to First Floor & Cafe Wein

There are several sets of stairs to the first floor, and also a lift. The best ones to use to find cafe Wein are the ones at either end of the Main Open air rectangular Square.

 

Of these 2 sets of stairs the nearest ones to the cafe is where the photographer is stood, with the squarking parrots at the top

 

At the top of these stairs turn right, then turn left down the passage way , Cafe Wein is at the end.

The Cafe Wein is a GAY TRADIION, an absolute MUST in the later afternoon, around 4pm.  The popular drinks & eats are Cocktails, Coffee with a good dose of spirits, coffee with squirty cream, fabulous cakes with ice cream or squirty cream. Your on holiday this is the time to indulge.

 

The Cita Commercial centre is a very popular stop off place for gays returning from the Sand Dunes and the vast majority of them go to the Wein cafe on the upper level.

 

The easyest way to find it is to go into the Cita centre via the middle entrance in Avenida de Francia which is opposite the gay bungalow complex, Los Almendros. 

 

Turn left at the T junction then almost immediatly right into the large open air square lined with cafes & restaurents, some with live entertainment. At the far centre end of the square go up the stairs to the first floor, turn right, then left. Cafe Wein is at the end

 

Simple directions - Just follow all the "Queens"

 

In the winter Gay high season arrive a little too late and you will have to queue to get in, but on the gay side this is not the case in the low season, especially around May and June when the gay venues are virtually dead. Many close around this time of the year for holidays or even for a longer period.

 

The high season is in winter and the mid season is at UK annual holiday period around July to September.

 

Cafe Wien Upper In the winter season a very popular stop of for an ice cold drink and an Austrian patisserie drink on your return from the dunes.

The Gay bars are all in the Undergound level .  Use the entrance near the corner of Avenida de Francia & Avenida de Almania

The following Gay bars & Gay Sauna are all located in one corner of thevast Underground basement

 

The quiet underground passage ways are dingy, seedy and very run down, especialy outside empty units. This makes the area more than a little scary. 

 

The gay section is in one corner so you can avoid the empty sections

 

Therefore the best way to reach the gay section of the underground level is by the ramp near the kids playground on the corner of Avenida de Francia & Avenida de Alemania.

 

This entrance avoids the darker passageways.

 

Or use the internal stairways that are located near this corner.

Acapulco Bar

The Acapulco Baris run by Lilo and Claudia and has a dance floor in it's Disco Pub atmosphere.

The bar provides entertainment and is open 9pm to 4am

The Chaps Gay Cruising Club is similar to the Cellar Men's Bar in the Yumboin that it has theme nights such as Naked, underwear, jack off, gangbang. Note footwear must be worn.

 

The main difference is that entrance is free
