Arucas Gran Canaria
- Arucas is a town in north west Gran Canaria 12 kilometres from the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
- Arucas is also the name of municipality, similar to a county in the UK.
- It spreads from the coast to 1/3 the distance to the islands centre covering an area of 33km2 with a population of around 32,500.
