If you search on Google for the largest Gran Canaria Caldera all you get in the replies is Bandamar Caldera.,which is not true. The largest is Tejeda Caldera the result of the stratosphere volcano Mount Nublo's eruption, 4.5 million years ago,creating a crater around one third the size of the island.
