Roque Bentayga Gran Canaria Introduction
- Roque Bentayga is spectacular rock formation, the renains of a volcanc core formed millions of years ago.
- The 4th highest peak in Gran Canaria with a height is 1,414 metres (4,639 ft) above sea level.
- Located in the Nublo Rural Park on the central high ridge within the massive Tejeda volcanic caldera
- It is a ritual place (almogarén). for the native population
Walk to the rock base 820 metre distance along a dirt trail from the Roque Bentayga Interpretation Center located next to the car park at the end of a dead end road off the GC-671 main road
